A Happy Little Tree Pattern

I'm too embarrassed to admit how long it has been since I've worked on my portfolio, but I can say it was way overdue. Recently, I dusted off my fashion design portfolio from 2004, and replaced each and every sleeve with my most recent graphic design and illustration work. I decided to scan some of the drawings from my sketchbook and work on some new patterns.

I like to call this guy the "Happy Little Tree" pattern.

This makes me want to draw today. I have a few drawings from my sketchbook I want to add color to in Illustrator. I think that will be my Sunday project...

New Logo Design

This past weekend I designed a logo for an OKC apparel and accessories company called Vintour. The project sort of fell in my lap and the owner of the company was extremely easy to work with. It went really smooth from start to finish. I really lucked out!

PIKALAND

I've just fallen in love with a website called Pika Land [Pikaland? :)]! I'm so excited about that I just have to share it with you.



Pikaland is a blog about designers and illustrators... The creator is a lover and collector of all things illustrated and she shares this admiration in every post. I can't help but adore her and every artist she writes about. She does interviews and even sells some of their work on her site in the PikaPackages section: here.

I love to draw. I love other people that love to draw. And I especially love people that love people that love to draw. Get it? Good! :)
