New Happy Place Design Model!

I decided I needed a new model to represent Happy Place Design. I feel so silly taking pictures of myself to show my creations... Being the lucky lady that I am, the perfect model was right in front of me, Ryan! One day, I'll do another photo shoot. For now, though, my lovely boyfriend in our lovely home will work just fine. :)

Custom Crochet Cowls!!!

Okay, so now that Christmas is over with, I'm ready to make even more scarves and scarflettes! I really have fallen in love with the thought of making crochet pieces for specific people, instead of an assembly line like the other crafts I've made in the past. It really felt amazing giving the scarves and cowls to my family this holiday, that I had made special for them. With this in mind, I decided to add custom ordering to my etsy shop!

Thank You ThreadBanger!

Last night, I was wide awake at 12am and perusing the interweb when I came across this step by step tutorial on crocheting a beanine-style hat on ThreadBanger. Thankfully, I still had one untouched skein of pale yellow chunky yarn left. I grabbed the skein and my favorite crochet hook and got comfy in the computer chair. I followed the extremely thorough, video guide every step of the way and below are photos of my creation! I don't want to take it off now. It's so adorable, if I do say so myself. :)
