Hello Kitty for MAC Cosmetics

I stumbled upon this video and just had to post it...

I'm learning about this about a month past the release date (February 10th, 2009), I've been in a bit of a black hole disguised as "overtime".

You just HAVE to check this out, Hello Kitty fan or not.

Likely due to my exhaustion from work and the most recent circus-style event I just participated in, I couldn't help but feel for the team that must've put those props together.

I was distracted by the pretty pink chairs that were probably the perfected shade of pink, the gems hanging from the trees that were probably hunted for months, rummaging through sample card after sample card trying to find the perfect shape and color. Many people don't notice those things, they just see a pretty girl galloping through this imaginary field like a gazelle in search of mysterious and dangerous Hello Kitties...

It takes a huge team, a creative army, to put together photo shoots, videos, commercials, events, magazines, newspapers, fashion shows, everything under the sun! It's so crazy how many people working together for a united purpose can put together such an amazing result with good old fashion hard work and determination.

This is a little silent thank you to everyone I work with for being such an amazing, hard-working team. Our big little circus tonight, wouldn't have been the same without every one of us.

I'm sure MAC paid tons of money making this commercial to inspire people to buy their cosmetics, not publicly thank their coworkers on a humble blog, but what can you do? Even we, "Creative Engineers", deserve shout-outs, no matter what the forum.
